nothing beats a bhaji. 10/10 crunch and onion flavour, plus always spiced deliciously

I’ve never heard of this. Is it like an Indian-spiced onion ring? Looks delicious!

What’s the recipe? I must try these 😋

No but it’s on my list now! I wonder if it’s hard to make.

Hope you dipped them in mango chutney. God I love a bhaji. Also my local does them more as big balls of onion and chickpea batter, fried in ghee, so good.

Hell yes, these are the bee’s knees.

Even better is onion pakoda, which usually has a thinner coating and more craggy looking, which gives extra crunch.

Plenty of recipes on the Internet, and it’s super easy to make. It is a very common evening tea snack here in India, either with tamarind or mint-cilantro chutney or jusf ketchup (we eat *a lot* of ketchup in this country).

Every day I curse the fact that there are essentially no good Indian places near me. Ive never even heard of this and my mouth is watering.

My wife won’t let me order the onion bhaji anymore bc I eat it before I get home from picking up food

Bhajis are round balls, these look like just Indian fried onions

  11. Something like Indian onion petals? I’m all about it, that batter looks awesome.

There’s a south indian version of this called “ulli vada”, my favorite snack of all time
